2 gallon fish bowl, 3 guppies?

Question by Noo: 2 gallon fish bowl, 3 guppies?
at least 2 gallons of water (its about 10 liters), 3 tiny guppies, plants, filtration gravel, clean water, not fed too much, 1 cup of water changed everyday, lots of love, thinking of adding some fairy shrimp.

am i cruel?
people tell me im cruel for keeping a fish bowl?!
i’m paranoid now :( lady in shop said it was fine!
i think i have my measurements on the tank wrong. its a huge bowl, probs about 30cm’s radius then it bulbs out at the bottom.

if i knew it was cruel i wouldnt have done it!
i love fish and thats why i wanted to keep them, i thought pet shop lady could be trusted!

Fish bowls are not for fish. Guppies need 10 gallons and 4-5 guppies would stock a 10 gallon fish tank.

It is rather cruel the water is not heated. And guppies need 78-80.

Edit: It’s not only the size but the shape of a bowl that is bad. It doesn’t have much surface area which limits the amount of oxygen in the water. You can’t put a proper filter in there Undergeravel filters are really glorified bubblers they only trap waste under the gravel where it’s hard to reach and clean out. They don’t cycle because of the size and shape.

Q&A: Hey I want to get some new saltwater fish.?

Question by D-man: Hey I want to get some new saltwater fish.?
I have a 40 gallon reef tank and I already have two small colonies of polyps and 2 small mushrooms on a rock and i will eventually get more corals, as you know corals are no fun without fish. I know some fish have to be put in before or after others or they will fight, I need to know the order I should put the fish from this list in. Blue Hamlet, Bi color Anthias (3 female, 1 male), Sunrise Dottyback, Copper banded butterfly fish, Fishers Angel fish, Potter’s Angel fish Multi barred Angel fish (couldn’t make up my mind so feel free to chose for me), mating pair Maroon clowns (preferably gold striped maroons), a mating pair of Scott’s Fairy Wrasse(female first then buy the mail), Midas Blenny and Radall”s shrimp Goby, maybe some cleaner shrimp and hermit crabs. If your wondering im going to put them in at least a week apart, and if you are wondering where im getting my money from, I work at the saltwater fish and garden store so i get good discounts. Help me if you can by giving me the order of which I should put them in. Thanks!

Ocellaris are on the smaller side of the clownfish family, but still you’ll probably need at least 30 gallons for all of those. 1 snail is pretty pointless for saltwater, you should probably buy at least 1 or 2 snails per gallon of your tank to make a good cleanup crew.
